Are you ready to pop the question?
You’ve already bought the ring. You know what you want to say. But you haven’t done it yet because you’re still planning the perfect proposal. It can be scary because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime event. Surely, you want it to be flawless in every way!
Do not be dismayed, for the Beanies are here to lend a hand! Here are some proposal ideas for every type of woman.
If your significant other is a big time foodie, you can use the all-time classic method – hide the ring inside the dish. Just make sure that the placement is suitable and she doesn’t accidentally bite on it (you do not want her to end up in the Emergency Department).
Assemble a basket of treats and hide the ring in it or you can take her out for dinner and request for the chef to write “Will you marry me?” on the rim of the plate. You could also drop the ring in her champagne glass — the most classic of all proposal ideas.
If the love of your life works in the tech field, you could code a small program for her (if you can’t do this, then ask a professional!) and insert the 4-word question into the code. Email it to your girlfriend and prepare to receive an answer…in code!
Is work important to your girlfriend? Then you should do an office-related proposal.
With the permission of her boss and some help from her colleagues, you could slip into her office and decorate the meeting room before she arrives. You could even ask the boss to send her a message telling her to come for an urgent meeting. She would definitely rush to the office and get the surprise of her life!
If she loves travelling, plan a romantic getaway for both of you. At beaches and oceans, you could build a sandcastle together and secretly place the ring on the highest tower when she isn’t looking. If it’s the mountains, pop the question at the peak after a hike.
Another idea is that you can request for the hotel staff to decorate her hotel room prior to your arrival. Once she enters the room, it will be a delightful surprise for her! She wouldn’t have guessed it for sure!
If your significant other prefers to stay at home most of the time, we’ve got a proposal idea for that too! Fill her room with photos of you and her, put up some balloons and spread flower petals everywhere on the room floor. Get down on your knee and ask her the question in the comfort of her home.
So she’s creative and loves anything handmade. Make her a card or scrapbook of your favourite memories together, and pop the question at the last page. You don’t have to be ultra creative; she’ll love the effort and thought put in.
Psst. This actually happened to one of our Beanies and she loved it!
So many ways, but only one mission! We wish you the best of luck.
