Quick DIY 2-ingredient face masks to try today

Make your own face masks using only two ingredients that you may already have at home.

Face masks can be quite expensive. Some of the branded ones that are sold in stores could even cost you an entire day’s meal. They are also made up of different kinds of chemicals that could be harmful to sensitive skins. They could probably work wonders, but when you need to save time and money, going all natural is so much better!

Here are some face mask recipes that are cheap and easy to make at home.

The simple 2-ingredient face mask recipe you can do by yourself

Yoghurt + Lemon Juice = Brighter skin

1 tbsp of plain organic yoghurt

Fresh lemon juice

Mix the yoghurt with some drops of fresh lemon juice. Spread the mixture onto your clean face avoiding the eye and mouth area. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Wash off with cold water and pat dry. Use daily to get that glowing light skin.

 

Aloe Vera + Lemon Juice = Clear skin

2 tbsp fresh aloe vera gel

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Mix the aloe vera gel with the lemon juice. Spread the mixture onto your clean face avoiding the eye and mouth area. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Wash off with water and pat dry. Use daily for blemish-free skin.

 

Grounded coffee + Raw honey = Firm skin

1 tbsp grounded coffee powder

1 tbsp raw honey

Mix the grounded coffee powder and raw honey well to make a paste. Spread the mixture onto your clean face including the area around the eyes. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Wash off with warm water and pat dry. Use regularly for tighter and brighter skin.

 

Banana + Butter = Soft skin

1 big banana

1/2 stick of butter

Mash the banana to make a paste and add in the butter. Mix the ingredients well. Spread the mixture onto your clean face avoiding the eye and mouth area. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Wash off with clean water and pat dry. Use regularly to combat dry skin.

 

Bread + Milk = Nourished skin

1 piece of bread

3 tsp fresh milk

Put the fresh milk and the piece of bread into a small bowl. Let the bread absorb the milk. Use your fingertips to mix the ingredients to create a paste. Spread the mixture evenly onto your clean face avoiding the eye and mouth area. Let it sit for 5 minutes. To remove the mask, it is very important to use dry fingertips and move them in a circular motion. Wash off with tepid water and pat dry. Use regularly for brighter and softer skin.
